A fully bespoke digital wallcovering scheme across the whole hotel — more than 800 m² in rooms, corridors, lobby, restaurant and seminar spaces — inspired by Villeurbanne's industrial past.
For this 80-room hotel, Muraspec designed and produced a fully bespoke digital wallcovering scheme covering the entire property — bedrooms, corridors, lobby, restaurant and seminar spaces, over 800 m² in total.
The concept draws on Villeurbanne's manufacturing history. Brick, recalling the city's old factories, is the recurring motif, used on headboard walls and along the corridors; digital printing reproduces its texture and depth without any wet trades.
The restaurant and seminar rooms feature larger-scale industrial and urban graphics. The project shows bespoke wallcoverings acting as the backbone of a hotel's storytelling rather than mere decoration.
