A Cape Town restaurant with a bespoke zigzag cork floor combining two Wicanders Cork Pure Signature visuals.
FoxCroft chose Wicanders Cork Pure Signature flooring for both a striking pattern and practical performance. Two visuals — the dark Identity Chestnut and the light Originals Symphony — are laid in a bespoke zigzag that runs through the dining room.
The Cork Pure Signature range is built for mixing colours and textures into custom layouts. Beyond looks, cork adds warmth, acoustic comfort and thermal insulation, and its softness is appreciated by guests and by staff on their feet for long shifts.
According to Amorim, the owner is pleased with the result and plans to repeat the design in four more restaurants. The project was delivered with Amorim Cork South Africa.
