A hotel in two historic Old Town buildings in Munich, with bespoke mixers combining three AXOR Citterio lines and Brushed Gold Optic and Brushed Bronze finishes.
Rosewood Munich occupies the former headquarters of the Bavarian State Bank and the aristocratic Palais Neuhaus-Preysing in the heart of the Old Town. Tara Bernerd & Partners handled the restoration and the interiors of the 74 rooms and public spaces, as a contemporary take on baroque with references from Bauhaus to the Space Age.
The marble guest bathrooms feature mixers composed through AXOR Signature: a curved AXOR Citterio M spout, AXOR Citterio E cross handles and AXOR Citterio escutcheons, with temperature markings moved to the centre of the handles. Selected fittings are finished in Brushed Gold Optic and Brushed Bronze via AXOR FinishPlus.
The spa, with its pool and green-tiled showers, combines AXOR Starck, AXOR ShowerSolutions and AXOR Citterio E in Brushed Gold Optic, while the washrooms of Bar Montez use the pared-back AXOR Uno in Brushed Bronze.
